With two children, and all that goes with them, and both my wife and I working we are sadly very time poor. So imagine the absolute nightmare of trying to organise an overseas trip during school holidays three weeks before the end of term! To further complicate things we also decided we would only go if we could use frequent flyer points. A friend suggested we contact Urban Assistant for help. I must admit I was a little sceptical but decided to give it a try.
Within a few days we had a selection of available flights and destinations with all the information required to make a decision. Within a week we were booked for our holiday in Penang. It was one of the best holidays we have had. The service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. We have since engaged Urban Assistant to replace our garage doors and the guttering on our roof. The outcomes were equally impressive. It’s fair to say that we have changed from sceptics to raving fans and have recommended Urban Assistant to many of our family and friends.

Weddings Dr Helen Engelbrecht, Canada [Helen and Christopher Stanton’s wedding] – January 2009
The referral to Urban Assistant as a potential wedding organizer was one of the best things that happened for our wedding. Christopher and I had to organize our wedding in the Blue Mountains, while living in Canada, and we were quite frantic as to how to pull it all together without being there... or even how to find out about where to hire/organize certain people in order to bring together 80 people from Australia and other parts of the world to enjoy this wonderful celebration and reception with us. Claire was recommended to us and she made it all happen: smoothly efficiently, diplomatically, she not only organized everything needed from reception marquee, caterers, florists, estheticians on site, accommodations, printing of menus, procuring steaming machines....[the list is endless] but made it all so easy and enjoyable. Not to mention sorting out the many tense interactions involved in these occasions. Claire changed what could have been a horror show into a really lovely easy occasion... in short she is a real blessing: complete with sunny personality and big smile. Capable, I imagine of organizing just about anything needed by the busy professional.

Thanks a million for organising all facets of my daughter’s brilliant 14th birthday party recently.
From invitation preparation, to the booking and management of the ‘mocktail’ waiters and extensive bar to co-ordinating the sound and light and organising all the food – you were exceptional in bringing it all together on the night.
As we have heard from parents, “it was the party of the year for Year 9!!” Everyone had a very special night.
